Visit to Poh Yeen's Durian Orchard

After our Reunion in 2001, we had another mini gathering. This time was at Poh Yeen's orchard. Needless to say, just look at our happy faces and you would know that the durians are very yummy yummy. Besides durians, we had mangosteens and lansaghts too.
Seated at the front are Shiamala and her sons & nephew. The ladies standing at the back from left to right are Lai Foong, Poh Yeen, Iye Iye, Ah Choo, Poh Choo and Sau Lai.

Well, we started off the day with having nasi lemak for breakfast. All thanks to Poh Yeen and family. See the yellow helmets stacked beneath the tables, well later you will see us wearing them.

Here we are wearing the safety helmets. We went round the orchard collecting durians, so, just in case any durians will to ripen and fall, well at least we will be protected by these helmets.

The men as you all can see, some are very busy opening the durians ....

..... some climbing tress to pluck mangosteens

& the children are busy fishing ...

Then, where are all the ladies?

Here they are ..... having a lovely time eating and chit chatting.
